Giveaway

The Giveaway module lets you run draws and wheel of fortune spins among your viewers. The panel is divided into four tabs: Participants, Giveaway, Wheelspin and Countdown.

Tab: Participants

Here you manage the participant list and configure entry collection.

• Access mode - toggle between Everyone in chat / Subscribers only
• Keyword - command viewers type in chat to join the draw (default !here). Configured in the Giveaway tab.
• Filter non-subscribers - removes all non-subscribed participants from the list
• Filter non-followers - removes participants who do not follow the channel
• Clear all - removes the entire participant list and resets wins
• Add manually - enter a username and optionally check "Sub" to add a participant without a chat command
• Entry deadline - optional cutoff time after which chat stops being monitored (date and time)

Opening and closing entries

1. Click Open giveaway - the app starts listening for the keyword in chat.
2. Optionally click Show join list to display the participant list overlay in OBS.
3. When you want to close entries, click Close entries.

Participant list overlay (Join Overlay)

The participant list overlay appears on the OBS screen as viewers join. You can customize its appearance:

• Display mode - Corner (small tile), Bar (bar at the top or bottom of the screen) or Full screen
• Position - choose the corner or bar position
• Size, background opacity, blur, text glow, shadow - adjustable with sliders
• Colors - primary, accent, background, text, and separate chip colors for regular participants and subscribers
• Font size - separately for the header and participant names
• Show participants / show frame - element visibility toggles

Configure the draw animation and launch the main giveaway.

Templates

Choose one of three ready-made visual overlay templates:

• Neon - cyberpunk style with neon colors (cyan / magenta)
• Gold - elegant gold style on a dark background
• Retro - green terminal / retro style

Selecting a template automatically sets the color palettes, which can be freely modified later in the Overlay colors section.

Giveaway settings

• Keyword - command typed by viewers (default !here)
• Double chance for subs - subscribers have 2x the chance of winning
• Countdown before draw - counts down on the overlay before the animation (duration in seconds set next to it)
• Winner texts - Line 1 and Line 2 displayed on the overlay after the winner is drawn
• Overlay colors - primary, accent, background, text (also switched by template selection)

Ticket system (Giveaway)

The Tickets option lets viewers purchase extra chances with channel points:

• Ticket command - command typed by the viewer (default !ticket)
• Ticket cost - how many points one ticket costs
• Max tickets per user - 0 = no limit

When the ticket system is enabled, viewers type !ticket (or another command) in chat to buy extra chances. The number of tickets each person holds appears next to their name on the participant list.

Giveaway sounds

• Scroll sound - plays during the slot-machine animation
• Winner sound - plays when the winner is drawn
• Countdown tick sound - plays on each second of the countdown
• Volume - shared control for all giveaway sounds (0-300%)

Animation style

The Animation style section lets you customize the slot-machine animation:

• Overlay background opacity and blur
• Speed and height of scrolling elements
• Name glow in the slot machine
• Indicators (horizontal lines marking the winner's slot) - optional, with thickness control
• Particles (particle effect after the draw)
• Font sizes: countdown digits, countdown text, winner lines 1 and 2, winner name

How to run a draw

1. Collect participants (Participants tab). You can add them manually or open the giveaway and wait for them to type the keyword.
2. Go to the Giveaway tab and click Run animation. If countdown is enabled, a countdown will appear on the overlay first, and then the slot-machine animation will start automatically.
3. After the animation ends, the overlay displays the winner's name and the configured texts.
4. If the winner does not respond, click Reroll - previous winners are excluded. The number of excluded participants is shown next to the button.
5. Click Close overlay to hide the animation from OBS.
6. Optionally click Export image - a PNG file with the winner's name styled to match the selected template will be saved, ready to share on Discord for example.

Tab: Wheelspin

The wheel of fortune first draws a participant from the list, then spins the prize wheel.

Prizes

• Add any number of segments (prizes) with names and colors
• Save a prize set as a preset (named template) and load it later with a single click

Ticket system (Wheelspin)

Wheelspin has its own independent ticket system (default command !wsticket), which works the same way as the Giveaway ticket system.

Wheel appearance

• Wheel size (px), background opacity, background blur
• Colors: indicator, border, wheel center
• Font sizes: segment labels, prize text, drawn person's name
• Wheel glow effect

Wheelspin sounds

• Spin sound - plays while the wheel is spinning
• Prize sound - plays when the wheel stops on a prize
• Volume - adjustment 0-300%

How to run a Wheelspin

1. Click Draw participant - the app draws a person from the participant list. If countdown is enabled, the countdown will run first.
2. The wheel appears on the overlay. Click Spin the wheel - the overlay animates the spin and stops on a random prize.
3. If you want to draw a different person, click Reroll next to the drawn person's name.

Tab: Countdown

A standalone countdown independent of the draw. Can be used to count down to the start of a giveaway, an event, etc.

• Time (seconds) - how many seconds the countdown runs
• Main text - text displayed on the overlay above the number
• Target - optional text displayed below the number (e.g. a player's name or prize name). Additional style options appear once you type something: prefix, font size, glow, color
• Overlay appearance - colors (primary, accent), background opacity and blur, font sizes for the number and text

Click Run countdown - the giveaway overlay displays the countdown animation. A live preview is visible in the panel on the right.

Giveaway overlay in OBS

Add a single Browser Source to OBS at http://localhost:47201/giveaway. This one overlay handles all modes: the join list, countdown, slot-machine animation, wheel of fortune, and standalone countdown.

You do not need to enable or disable the overlay in OBS - animations appear and disappear automatically when you click the corresponding buttons in the panel.
